Increase aviation safety for the flying public. By September 30, 2025, the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) will reduce the commercial air carrier fatality rate to below 4.4 fatalities per 100 million persons on board and reduce general aviation fatal accidents to below 0.92 fatal accidents per 100,000 flight hours.
