Join us as we revisit the sweetest social media moments that made #GovLove a true family affair. Federal agencies, leaders, teams and local government departments came together to create a love-filled campaign that stole our hearts.

Performance.gov collaborated with federal agencies and programs to celebrate remarkable public service through its fourth annual #GovLove social media campaign. Thank you to all of our many participants and partners who have made this our most engaging #GovLove yet! From February 12 to February 16, federal employees and agencies joined in on the fun this year.

A Few #GovLove Highlights

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Community Revitalization expressed gratitude toward their partner, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service, for their collaborative efforts in assisting small towns and rural communities.

The U.S. Geological Survey’s Maryland-Delaware-DC Water Science Center expressed #GovLove to their hydrologic technician, acknowledging the unwavering dedication behind maintaining 264 gages.

The Department of Education gave some much needed #GovLove to USA.gov for informing us about vital government services and more!

The Office of Evaluation Sciences showed the many beautiful faces behind the team that works across the Federal Government to help agencies build and use evidence.

Local governments joined the fun, like the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, which shared love with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and the Department of Environmental Conservation.

SERVIR, a collaborative initiative between the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and NASA, celebrated its sister programs with a heartfelt shoutout!

One of the most heartwarming aspects of #GovLove 2024 was the outpouring of affection from federal leaders. Christine Harada, Senior Advisor at the Office of Management and Budget, expressed #GovLove to the General Services Administration for their steadfast championing of Transactional Data Reporting (TDR)!

Kiran Ahuja, Director of the Office of Personnel Management extended #GovLove to all public servants.

And in the spirit of #GovLove, agencies honored and celebrated individuals who have made significant contributions to public service. USAID conveyed love to Lindsey Doyle, Director of the President’s Emergency Plan for Adaptation and Resilience (PREPARE).

And lastly, Performance.gov expresses sincere gratitude to all the agencies who sent us Valentine’s. Thank you, Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Head Start, for your thoughtful #GovLove message to our team.

As Cupid takes a break until next year, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all federal agencies, leaders, and teams who made #GovLove a true federal family affair. Your love for public service and dedication to making a positive impact have made this campaign a love story for the ages.

Here’s to more #GovLove, more hugs, and more innovation in the years to come. For a complete look at all the heartfelt messages exchanged this season, check out the #GovLove hashtag on Twitter(X), LinkedIn and Instagram. Happy #GovLove, federal family!
